Company History
VSR began its journey in 1989, inspired by a vision to deliver the first affordable, full-featured PC-based turnkey call processing/voicemail system. This unique product would include an extensive list of telephone system integration's, a user-friendly "Quick Setup" utility enabling even minimally trained technicians the ability to install the system quickly and properly, and most importantly, simple, easy-to-use features that customers could quickly and comfortably understand.
In 1991, the vision became a reality, and shipment of the VSR-200 began. This flagship product exceeded ours, and most importantly our customers' expectations.
In 1993, the VSR 2Plus system was created to address the ever-growing small business market segment. This product was the first to deliver full high-end feature capabilities at an affordable price.
In 1995, VSR expanded its operations into London, England with a subsidiary company, VSR (Europe) Ltd. At this office, sales, technical support, and manufacturing provide VSR products and support to our European customers. This expansion has positioned VSR to provide computer telephony solutions throughout the European Market.
Also in 1995, COVoice was introduced as the ultimate integrated product for the Mitel® family PBXs. COVoice uses the only Mitel-approved COV card. Because Mitel designed both the PBX and COV card, COVoice provides the best possible integration available. Since its introduction, COVoice has been celebrated as Product of the Year by both Computer Telephony and Teleconnect, telecommunication industry's largest monthly magazines.
In 1996, the VSR200 and VSR2Plus were combined into one product, VOICENTRE, a scaleable system providing expansion from 2 to 24 ports within the same platform.
VOICENTRE is a powerful solution at an affordable price that integrates with more than 200 telephone systems. VOICENTRE has received Teleconnect Editor's Choice award twice, most recently in July 1997.
VSR dove into the vertical market of lodging and hospitality with a big splash in 1997. After forming a strategic alliance with Mitel Telecommunications Systems, XIOX Corporation, and TASKE Technology, VSR unveiled GuestSuite, an all-in-one "best-in-class" telemanagement solution. Packaged as a flexible, single-box platform with an open-architecture design, Guest Suite features VSR's powerful Guest Messaging system plus a diverse palette of selectable modules, such as the Mitel Superset 7000 Attendant Console, TASKE's ACD Toolbox, and XIOX's Prophet Hospitality and Lodging Software Series call accounting systems.

VSR believes in quality. In order to ensure the quality of each item that leaves our facility, all of our systems are burned in for a minimum of 72 hours before shipment.
VSR provides the best technical support possible. Emergency support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
